Birthday Shopping Haul

 H&M, £14.99
 Topshop,
Top: £18
Dress: £38
 Topshop: £38
Topshop: £38

As it is my 18th birthday soon, my mum asked me to pick out a few things I liked so she can wrap them up and put them away for May; these are the items that I picked. Don't worry, I helped her out by getting her a student discount! She even helped me put together the stripey top and denim dress outfit :)

I bought myself a similar pair of these jeans from Topshop and had to get more, jeez they're comfortable! The material is a little stretchy so they feel kinda like jeggings with pockets! Best jeans I've ever bought.

I am really tired, so this is just going to be a quick post. I went to the salon at my college today and got a lovely manicure by one of the beauty students :) I had a selection of nail polishes to choose from- I went for one of the "Fearne" nail polishes; a line of nail polishes first brought out for Boots in 2011, inspired by Fearne Cotton. The colours were all really nice but I decided to be daring and go for something a bit different, a dark purple with sparkle through it. The polish looked like it applied nicely and it only took two coats, I also liked the fact that it dried in next to no time!

Clearasil Rapid Action Gel Wash Review

I wouldn't recommend this if you have sensitive skin. As you may know from one of my previous posts, my skin gets quite dry and I always have to put face cream on daily but since I've been using this I've had to start applying E45 cream at least 5 times during the day. My face is sore and itchy just because of how dry it is which is really irritating. It has however started to clear up some of my spots but I think I'll try and find a gentler face wash next time.

That's all I really have to say about it and I won't be buying or using this product again.

Goodbye For Now!

Clearasil "Rapid Action" Face Wash

I'm putting the Clearasil Rapid Action Gel Wash to the test this week! I've tried many, many different types of face washes and they always have such promising slogans on the bottle but I still haven't found one that I love and I certainly haven't found one that is gentle enough for my skin. My mum found this for me to try, it says:

"Visibly clearer skin in as little as 12 hours".

Lets see if it actually works!

Soap And Glory Easter Egg Hunt

Image sourced from Soap & Glory Facebook page.
Since I've spoke about Soap and Glory a little bit today, I thought it was relevant to mention that there is an Easter egg hunt on their website, one winner and five runner-ups.

Get hunting!

It's snowing here! In March! So since it looks like I'm not going anywhere today here's a review of some more beauty products I've bought recently :)

I know face wipes are pretty standard and boring, there's not really much to review but I've included them because I didn't know that Topshop had their own face wipes! Anyway I went into the shop to spend the £10 that was left on my gift-card from Christmas, I could have bought anything: Jewelry, a blouse, socks, etc... What do I buy? I buy face wipes, can't beat a good pack of face wipes!

Next thing that I bought was the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer. I only just tried this out today and I already love it. It does the job and covers up my horrible spotty bits, it made me feel like I didn't have to wear as much powder/foundation on my face which is a good thing because really heavy make-up is bad for your skin.

Soap and Glory time! Okay, I had never used any Soap and Glory products before I bought the "Bright Here Bright Now" face cream. The reason I bought it is because I have ridiculously dry skin at times and I had heard so many good things about Soap and Glory. I use the cream everyday before I put my makeup on and it makes my skin look a lot smoother. It actually says you can either use it like moisturizer or mix it into your makeup! It's just a nice "pick me up" type of face cream.

Finally, the "Killer Curves" mascara from Collection 2000. I'm not super impressed, it's alright. It's not a bad mascara, I've had some terrible ones but it's just not the best one I've used. It makes my lashes separate and it doesn't give as much volume as I would have liked.

That's everything for today,
Goodbye For Now!

"Cream Puff" Lip Cream

I have just tried this product out and I think it's my new favourite! It's nothing like what I expected it to be, I thought it would feel kind of like a lip gloss -which is something that I'm not a big fan of. I was pleasantly surprised when it went on like a lipstick! It feels nice and light but also like it could last a long time before needing to apply more and it smells really good too- personally, I think it smells like a caramel frappuccino from Starbucks...

A must buy for lipstick fans!

Kate Moss Lipstick

My first ever blog post! How exciting!

I've started taking a real interest in beauty recently, mainly because I've been watching a lot of "Zoella" videos and I love her blog, so I thought I'd give it ago myself! I'm sure all you beauty gurus on YouTube know of Zoella's channel and if you don't, you should definitely watch her videos :)

Anyway, I've collected a few items over the past month or so and i wanted to share them and say a little bit about what I like or don't like about them. Lets get started!

Lets start from the top and work our way down. The first item here is a nail polish from Topshop called "Unicorn" - how bloody brilliant is that name? It comes in a baby pink colour and has lovely glittery bits through it which is super cute! In-fact I'm wearing it at the moment. So I'm not really one for wearing nail polish because I get bored waiting for it to dry and it tends to look really scruffy once I'm finished but this actually paints on very smoothly and it didn't take too long to dry! This was my first time ever buying a Topshop nail polish and I would seriously recommend this particular one and I will be sure to try out more colours in the future.

The next thing I bought is the Kate Moss lipstick because I know how popular it is with everyone so i just had to give it a bash and I was not disappointed, however next time I might get a different colour. The colour that I bought was number 05 and I think it's called 'Rossetto' it's a really pretty pink but I'm just not sure if it suits me yet. Oh and I almost forgot to say, it smells amazing! Yes, that's right, a lipstick that smells amazing.

Today I bought the Collection 2000 CreamPuff lip cream because I heard about it in a beauty swap box video and went straight out to buy it. I haven't tried this out yet so i don't really have much to say about it but I will try it out first thing tomorrow and see what I think of it.

The final product to review is the Topshop nail art pen. I love it. I got it in black just because i wanted to go for a safe option colour-wise and it is honestly just like a pen which makes it super easy to do any design you want! I'm thinking there might be some panda nails posted on here soon :)

Well that's all, and concludes my first post,
Goodbye For Now!
